How to Select a Product

 

The main shop menu at the left of the screen is always visible, use it to move easily between product types (Jamones, Vinos, Quesos etc…)  and to view sub-categories such as Denominaciones de Origen, Producers, Red Wines, etc. etc. You can also use the search box at the top of the page if you cannot remember the full name of the product, producer or region you are looking for.

 

 

How to Buy

 

Add a product to the shopping cart by clicking on the BUY button in the product detail page or on the product listings pages.  You will be taken automatically to the shopping cart page where you can view and/or modify contents of the cart by changing quantities or deleting items. The shopping cart will also show you the exact shipping costs to be charged.  Change the destination country in the selection box to re-calculate shipping costs.

You can continue shopping or browsing on other product pages until you are ready to go to the checkout and finalise your purchase..

When you have finished selecting items, you can go to the shopping cart directly by clicking on the main menu, and then click on the GOOGLE Checkout or the PAYPAL button in order to finalise your purchase.

You do not have to register with us or "Login" in order to make a purchase.

Wine & Ham UK offers the following payment methods for online purchases:

PAYPAL Account/Credit Card

Both PAYPAL Account and Credit Card transactions are handled for us by PAYPAL. On finalising your purchase, you will be taken to the PAYPAL secure site for entering of credit card data, shipping and billing details, and contact email and phone numbers.

 

NO Credit Card details are handled by us on the Wine & Ham UK website.

On successful completion of the payment you will be returned to the Wine & Ham UK website to continue browsing. If the payment process has been successfully completed you do not have to do anything else - we will do the rest. You will receive an email at your user address with information about your purchase. The order number quoted in this email must always be used in any communication with us regarding your order. We will begin processing your order as soon as possible after receiving your order, which will be normally be dispatched within 24 hours. We will send you an email with the shipping details.

 

Bank Transfer

If you prefer to make the payment via bank transfer, please use the following procedure:

 

Ø  Indicate preference for payment via bank transfer when asked to select preferred payment method.

Ø  You will receive an email at the address indicated in your contact details, showing the details of our bank account, and the total amount to be transferred.

Ø  Make the transfer.

Ø  Once we have correctly received your transfer in our account we will process your order.

 

Use of the transfer payment method may result in a slight delay in order processing . We will send you an email confirming dispatch of your order with the shipping details.

 

 

How to Create a User Account

 

You can browse the website, view and add products to your shopping cart without having a username or logging in. A valid username is only required to add or modify comments on products. To log in simply click the Login button at the top right of the screen. If you have already registered proceed with the login. If you are a new user please enter your details as requested. Details required in order to register are: email address, password, name and surname, billing address, a shipping address, and contact phone.

 

This data will be used exclusively by us for processing your orders and for contacting you regarding your order as and when necessary.  Your details are stored exclusively on our server and will not be transmitted or shared with third parties. Your data can be modified or deleted by you at any time after whilst logged in. A valid username also allows you to add comments to a given product. These comments can be viewed by all but can only be modified or deleted by you when logged in.

 

 

Handling of Personal Data

 

We require some personal details only for the purpose of processing and dispatching your order. These details are made available to us from GOOGLE Checkout/PAYPAL in order to ship your order. Shipping

 

Your order will be processed by our staff and dispatched on the next working day following receipt of your online order.

You will receive an email with the shipping details in order you to track you shipment online.

Shipments are made using national and international transport companies.

National shipments (within Spain) have a normal delivery time of 2-3 working days. International shipments have a delivery time within the EU of 4-6 working days .

 

Refunds

 

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase you have the right to return your product within a maximum of 7 days after reception.

In order to initiate the refund procedure please send us an email to ventas@wineandham.com indicating the products to be returned and the reason(s) for requesting the refund, and will contact you with the steps to be followed.

If you are returning the product because it reached you in poor condition Wine & Ham UK Ltd will be responsible for all the return costs, and you can opt for substitution of the product or a full monetary refund.

The product must be returned to us in its original wrapping for us to be able to process the refund .
